Member of Parliament for Thérèse De Blainville
First elected city councillor for ten years, he served as mayor of Ville Lorraine in 2009 until his election on October 19, 2015. Since entering Parliament Hill, he was appointed member of two committees; the Standing Committee on Health that studies issues related to Health Canada, the major issues facing society in this area and studying bills and regulations of the Canadian government in the matter and the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates which will also allows Mr. Ayoub to study the effectiveness and proper functioning of the various ministries, central agencies while taking part in the review process of the budget and expenditure of ministries and central agencies. Soon after, Mr. Ayoub was appointed member of the Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Association Canada-France, an association that provides a framework for mutual understanding, exchange of best practices through diplomacy parliamentary, bilateral disputes and furthermore sits as vice president of the Aerospace Caucus, a position that will allow him to get involved in issues such as Bombardier.
